I’m Sean, owner of Mane Events and I have over 27 years of professional DJ experience and 13+ years creating unforgettable wedding celebrations. I’ve played virtually every major nightclub and venue across Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and the NSW coast through to Sydney, plus dance festivals, touring acts and winning national DJ competitions. But now, I specialise in customised weddings and events, having performed at 600+ weddings and also working as a professional MC. My reviews emphasize my ability to read the room in real time—knowing exactly when to lift the energy, shift the vibe, or bring everyone together on the dancefloor. I specialise in blending genres, generations & cultures to keep the energy flowing all night long - I understand music has the power to turn moments into forever memories! From there, I’ll craft a soundtrack that feels personal, memorable, and completely unique to you. Whether it’s a wedding, celebration, or milestone event, my goal is to help you build one of the biggest nights of your life a night no one will ever forget. We were lucky enough to have Tom MC and DJ our wedding - he was incredible. We had a great phone call the week before our wedding to go through details and his attention and care really put me at ease. On our wedding day he really just wanted us to relax and we were able to just put him in charge - he was simply the best, not only guiding through the evening, bringing the vibes and looking after us, but also dealing with any other small things that popped up or planning spontaneous sunset shots with the photographer. Hi! My names Will, I'm an open-format DJ local to the Newcastle / Hunter Valley region. For the past 4 years I have been working in venues, as well as doing private events (birthdays, weddings etc) My passion lies in the dancefloor, curating playlists with excellent song selection and leaving lasting memories. I'm very easy-going and happy to work with you to create the best event possible. We had our wedding a couple weeks ago and use Mane events and they were GREAT! we did their sapphire package and the music was bumping for our whole day. Sean was who we dealt with in the lead up - always happy to respond and jump on a call, which made planning super easy. On the night we had Will as our DJ who was the bomb.com. kept us all on the DF even through the rain! 10/10 would hire again. we got so many compliments from our guests re our dance floor and the energy. so happy we picked Mane for sorting all our music needs!

Mane Events created such an amazing environment for our wedding! Each song flowed perfectly into the next, the timing was perfect and when it came time for dancing, it was exactly what we wanted it to be. Not one person was sitting down when it came time to dancing. You can see from our photos how amazing they were at hyping up the crowd.
